Spencer is one of those guys that will come into your life, and just make it better. We've never met anyone with his level of wit and sarcasm. He has this ability to turn even the most mundane story into the most captivating tale you've ever heard. This Seattle native has quite the eye for photography (Hannah actually became close with him in their high school photography class).
Along with his Canon Rebel T5, Spencer loses himself in capturing vividly stunning photos that so many have grown to love. Here's a look at this babe's work.
What Inspires You? I'm really inspired by music. All types. I think that a song, lyric or beat can create a different image in everyones head. I can hear a song and think of a picture or moment that can go with it. Music is something that is so universal and can make everyone feel something. I love stylish movies, even if the story isn't necessarily great, a movie with good art direction and styling has my attention. I've also really been into the 60s and 70s, fleetwood mac, mid century modern design. A mod look with a hippy life style.
If you could living anywhere in the world and doing anything you want, what would you do? If I could be living anywhere in the world, I'd be living in New York City, doing art direction for some sort of cool and hip magazine. Traveling to cool places around the world and have a really cool instagram.
What are your goals, big or small for 2016? In 2016 I want to start to move into some sort of video and cinematography, see if I'm any good at it. Build my portfolio and apply for some internships, and hopefully visit New York at the end of the year.
Do you think its difficult to be a photographer in 2016? I think its difficult to be a photographer in 2016, everyone has a cell phone, and they all have great cameras on them and you can plop a filter on anything. So its hard to make yourself stand out, you really have to look at the world with a unique perspective and hope that people see what you are seeing and like it.
